Michael Siy is a practicing artist and industrial designer living in Vancouver, BC. His work is focused on composing forms and structure in space and the abstract expressions that are reflected by these compositions.

Michael began his studies in art and design at Langara College in 2008. There he developed a practice in woodworking and a series of architectural mixed-media drawings that he continues today.

In 2014, Michael received his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. His study at ECUAD was focussed on modern furniture and entrepreneurship that led him to co-found the design-and-build firm, Higher Works Ltd.. His work at HW specializes in the design and manufacture of interior spaces, architectural millwork, furniture, and fine woodwork.

Through his continued work and study, Michael looks to further explore the expressions brought forth by form, structure, and space.
